Fifth graders recently finished their study of Maya, Inca, and Aztec cultures by assembling their research into a “4-dimensional timeline” using the website Meograph.

Each student researched an artifact or site made by the Maya, Inca, or Aztec.  They then loaded a typed paragraph, image, website link, date, and geographical location into Meograph, which uses Google Earth technology.  The result is a map/timeline that shows the historical progression of these cultures through the artifacts and sites that remain today.
